Guardian Technology Group is a four generational family business with a rich history in manufacturing. Started as Hudson Machine Tool, Babe Hudson started a pattern works company from the ground. After son Charles' extraordinary leadership in the development and growth of the company, Babe turned the company over to Charles. The primary focus for the company at the time was specialty projects for the military. Various Navy and Army offices would turn to the company for highly technical and top secret projects. These included explosive material handling systems, projectile demilitarization machines, torpedo loading systems, explosive containment chambers etc.

The company later began to expand into commercial markets, with customers in the automotive, energy, and turf equipment markets. These included working with large companies and entrepreneurs wanting to grow their business, expand capacity, add product lines, and/or outsource components and assemblies.
